Art 2 - Abstract Color Block Painting

Art 2 students completed design based on a work of architecture or machine.  Color theory, rhythm, and composition were all important to this unit.

    These paintings are very rich in color harmony, and repeating,overlapped color shapes creates a nice rhythmic eye movement. Great job students and Mr. Triner. Mr. Huston

    My favorite of the abstract paintings are the purple and red, the blue and green and yellow paintings because of the colors. They are unique

    I like how much the paintings are abstract and how the colors fit together so well and pop out. They are also very unique and interesting. I think it also takes a large amount of skill to be able to paint things exactly how they are painted elsewhere in the paintings. I enjoy the color schemes in the paintings also.

    I am amazed by how unique these paintings are. My favorite would be the bike one (blue, purple, red) because it just blew my mind. I love how much imagination is put into this. Very nice work!!
